Mylar® MLB

This is an uncoated, high-clarity polyester film designed for lamination, and suits many healthcare applications. It provides high strength and temperature resistance in laminates over a broad temperature range, and does not degrade in standard sterilization processes.

Mylar® MLBT/MLBT2

Corona-treated on one (MLBT) or both (MLBT2) sides to improve adhesion of inks, coatings and adhesives, this film is outstanding as an outer printable layer for flexible packaging and laminations for approved healthcare uses. It’s robust against various chemicals and detergents, and doesn’t deteriorate during standard sterilization processes.

Melinex® ST329

This PET film is popular for medical test strips, owing to its high stiffness that makes it easy to insert into readers. It features a glossy pearlescent appearance and is not pre-treated. It is stabilized for applications in high-temperature processes where film registration is critical.

Melinex® AG3

This Melinex® variant is a clear PET polyester film coated on both sides to cut fogging and glare. This makes it ideal for face shields in emergency room and surgical settings, where clear vision, reduced eye fatigue, and splash protection are paramount. The film is also light, minimizing the burden on wearers.
